The material repertoire, that uses Urs Cavelti for his installations, reaches from the common and trivial to the glamorous, from the simple sand for example to the glacial glimmering polyester. But the artist concerns less with the specific qualities or the connection of material and content, but brings into focus their flexibility, their ambivalences and their narrative potentials.
